Name
Meet Barbara Weniger
Greetings Cookie Lovers! My name is Barbara Weniger, and I’m the proud owner of Cookie Time Bakery. I grew up in South Dakota, where my mother’s kitchen was always filled with the smell of freshly baked cookies. I couldn’t wait to learn her secrets—mostly because I wanted to eat them, of course!
I never planned to own a bakery, and I don’t have formal culinary training, but I’ve always known what makes a cookie taste just right. In 1991, I purchased a small wholesale bakery with just a few recipes and a handful of customers. With each passing year, Cookie Time grew—one delicious batch at a time—and by 1997, I was thrilled to open our retail store next door.
Today, I’m lucky to work alongside a wonderful team who loves cookies every bit as much as I do. Together, we bake with real ingredients, a lot of butter, and plenty of heart.
